'The characters here are so likeable that I was desperate for them to get together, but it's clear to see why they were hesitant about taking such a major step after being friends for so long. Speaking of likeable characters, there's a wonderful supporting cast, and it's really interesting to read a novel with so many well-drawn and sympathetic people in it. The tension - and there's plenty of it - comes from the balance between the pair's feelings for each other and the challenges Kendall faces, especially, as an A list celebrity trying to deal with the paparazzi and adoring fans I also thought the Hollywood setting was very well described and felt incredibly realistic. It's also got one of the best endings I've read for ages, which had me jumping to my feet I was so excited.

In Payton and Kendall, she's succeeded in creating characters whom you care about instantly. And her portrayal of their relationship is beautifully rendered. I loved the Hollywood angle, the question of how one learns to deal with other people's reactions to same sex relationships and the idea of the zany game that is celebrity.

A truly fantastic read. Some spoilery ahead I am so, so, so very happy to finally find a lesbian novel that makes it FEEL normal and natural and not some back and forth dreary tale. I am also quite happy that it has a happy ending and not depressive like other LGBT novels. Both Payton and Kendall are super good, super strong, realistic women and the writer does a phenomenal job of making you feel like them when in their POV. The descriptions are detailed, the situations are enjoyable and the supporting characters are fun with some decent enough depth to them. If I had any complaint it's that I wanted to see Payton and Kendall work a bit more on their craft? More scenes of Kendall acting and Payton writing or playing music? The Gravity Between Us is an excellent need to read masterpiece of lesbian media. It is a happy, feel good, emotional story that I was starved for. Absolutely, easily, 10/10. Thank you so very much for writing this story, I cannot wait for more! :)

No teenagers I've met (or been) in real life are quite this consistently funny, but I'll allow it. They're also cute, likeable, relatable, and every other adjective you'd want on the lead characters in a love story. Will definitely be looking for more stories from this author.

Genuine life story that doesn't dwell on impertinent details or sway off topic to make a statement. You get to know the internal thoughts of the main characters so you understand the decisions they make. True to life hard decisions, discovery, and choices to determine the most important thing to a happy life. Couldn't put the book down, very well written.
