About this ebook

HORRIFYING EDGE OF YOUR SEAT THRILLER where TRUE CRIME meets FICTION

Women are being murdered in a grisly fashion. The small mountain town of Crescent Hollow has a serial killer, or is it three?

HIS BURIAL GROUND HAS BEEN DESECRATED

Forensic psychiatrist Wyatt Thomas has escaped the city to the quiet mountain town of Crescent Hollow to finish his latest book on serial killers.  Cutting himself off from the outside world appears to be a great idea until his work follows him.  A serial killer’s graveyard has been located nearby. As more bodies are unearthed there appears to be three separate MO’s.  The mystery is more than he can resist.

                                                  HE’S PISSED

Special Agents Annie Thomas and Blake Hayashi of the FBI’s Behavioral Analyst Unit have been sent to the George Washington Jefferson National Forest to aid local law enforcement with a case.  Either a serial killer has been active in the area for roughly fifty years, or three killers are using the same dumping ground.

 YOU’RE DEAD

Seasoned homicide detective Merrybell Montgomery left her career in Philly to take care of her ailing husband in his hometown of Crescent Hollow, Virginia. Although he passed over a year ago, she’s remained in the picturesque town with no idea what to do with the rest of her life. Suddenly, she finds herself stuck in the middle of a nightmare. She’s being stalked by a serial killer and has no idea what put her in his sights.

                                       THE FINAL SCREAM IS HOLLOW

Now they must all work together to stop a killer or die trying.

Merrybell Montgomery left her career as Homicide Detective when her husband was so ill, and then died. It's been several years and she's still not sure what she wants to do with the rest of her life. Wyatt Thomas is a Forensic Psychiatrist who finds he needs peace and quiet to finish writing his latest book about serial killers. Good idea ... until Merrybell discovers a human hand in her yard... which leads her to a secretive burial ground. After finding many bodies, some decades old, Merrybelle is asked by the small town Sheriff to lend a hand. She winds up teamed with Wyatt to profile the killer. Wasn't what either of them wanted or needed, but they are up to their eye teeth in dead bodies. Wyatt's sister, Annie, and her partner, Blake, both FBI Agents play a role in that they are dispatched to help identify the killer. Things really take a turn for the worse when Merrybelle is personally targeted by the killer... and he almost succeeds. BOOK BLURB: WARNING: The main character in this book, Dr. Wyatt E. Thomas, is a forensic psychologist who delves into the disturbed minds of some of the most horrendous killers of all time. If you are sensitive or have a problem turning off the emotional side of your brain to view these studies in a clinical fashion, please skip those parts – they are marked in italics. There are crimes against children and other details that could upset or offend some people. Personally, I enjoyed the addition of information about real serial killers. It certainly lends credibility to the story. This is a welcome addition to a compelling series. I love the interactions between the characters, especially the relationship of the siblings. This is noted as a Romantic Suspense, but it's very short on the romance, and long on the mystery. All the books in this series is stand alone. There are no cliff hangers. All the books can be read in any order. Many thanks to the author for the advanced digital copy of HOLLOW SCREAM. Opinions expressed here are unbiased and entirely my own.

The Thomas Family series is one of my all-time favorites. This is Wyatt’s story. Wow! This story is well written and the details are thoroughly researched and anchored in facts. Although some parts may be a little dark for readers, the author has them clearly marked and skipping them does not detract at all from the overall story. I absolutely loved this story and the pairing of Wyatt and Merrybell. And getting to see the other Thomas siblings is such a great bonus. This is a must read but don’t stop at this one. Do yourself a favor and read the entire series.

Enjoyed the story but disappointed, thought the references to other serial killers were over done and irrelevant
