About this ebook

It all begins here. Do not skip to the last page. Do not let a friend or message board ruin this comic for you. The future (and past) of the DC Universe starts here. Don't say we didn't warn you! THEY SAID IT: 'Rebirth is about focusing in on the core of the character and their respective universe,' says writer and DC Entertainment Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns. 'It brings back what has been lost: the legacy of the characters, the love and the hope of the DCU!'

The end/epilogue ruined it. Leave those characters alone. We've already done the whole "heroes trying to save their dying parallel universe by destroying ours" thing already. That better not be where this is headed. It's time the whole of DC got fresh ideas and I don't mean more "modern" action or other pop junk.

Rather then it feeling like it had an actual story, it was more like just a huge set-up. Which I realize that's the point: however, it took away from the thrill of the comic. Other then that, it was a compelling "story" that followed the ark of a wandering, lost character that grips your heart.

I was hooked from the beginning. It's been a long time since I've took the time to read a comic as long as this one and I'm glad I did! I recommend anyone who is a fan of superhero's, Marvel or DC, reads this story arc.
