I love the banter between Damon and Bethany. I also love the way she stood her ground and not let anyone push her over. I got the feels from this book. Hot step brother billionaire with that alpha additude. That just wants to eat you up for his dinner....yeah give me give me!!

I loved this book. The girl is down to earth, and just so real, but human. The guy is similar to a few men I"ve met in my life. This book is amusing, exciting, loving, and in a few places heartbreaking but it is fantastic. The mother figure is truly fantastic but reminds me a lot of my own mother. The stepfather figure is a solid, loving, strong, loyal, and honorable. The other stepbrother Matt is adorable and alot like his dad, but he"s also fun and adorable. I want more of this.

I've always been a bit of a sucker for dominant male characters and Billionaire Alpha definitely delivered on that front. However, Ali Parker also delivered a strong female lead instead of the weak, whimpering main females that can sometimes plague the genre. I found myself sympathizing with Bethany during her emotional roller coaster. I understand where her guilt over her request to her mother comes from. I can feel the resentment she has towards her father and while she's a strong lead, she's not portrayed as being "perfect". She has flaws which only serve to make me like her more. I loved reading her more manipulative thoughts towards her rival and I found myself cheering when she finally acts on her impulses. When it comes to the more intimate parts, the only word that come to mind is HOT!! Ms. Parker manages to balance sexuality without making it smutty. I love tasteful intimacy that is explicit while leaving just enough to swoon over. And the chemistry between Bethany and Damon is so intense, it's just amazing. The dynamics between the characters are well explained and thoroughly fleshed out. Even the characters we are meant to hate are interesting three dimensional characters. I honestly think that my only complaint about this book (and this is due to my personal preference) is the ending. I hate cliffhangers with a passion! Especially with a passion this steamy! I need to read the next part ASAP!
