Helen Jean Walton Helen was a Beautiful Southern Woman, A pure Angle... When our sister was born on a Cold day on Feb. 19th, 1948, in Morton, Mississippi she was the third sister that we now had, Linda, Shirley. And now Helen, Two years later, Billy, was born. The last of five kids that Oza Mae Palmer gave life to, our Dear Mother. Helen memory was remarkable; she wrote the book when she was 53 year of age. The story starts she was only six years old. Bipolar disorder is a lifelong condition that can affect both how you feel and how you act. It is a mood disorder that can cause extreme swings in mood-from manic highs to depressive lows. Vincent van Gogh was said to have this condition. Helen was highly creative, she did not let the fact that she endured a bad childhood stop her from having a great life, Bipolar was a wall that slowed her down. But didn't stop her. Helen was in a fatal car accident 2001 on the Natchez Trace Parkway.Helen was married twice and had two children and one grandchild, Gary, Sarah and Isabella Walton. She married their father on a Saturday night on theSteamboat "The Natchez", in New Orleans. The reception was held at the World Famous Bar, Johnny White's Bar.Helen's Family: Sara was only 12 when she died from asthma. Gary, a Reggae musician, (Isabella's Dad)He resides in San Diego, Plays with the Wailing Souls as the Lead guitarist.The surviving family today. Shirley resides in Plaquemines Parish, spending most of her time with her grandkids, going to baseball, football games and other activities. Billy owns EverGreen Cabinets LLC.. He lives in Sugar Hill, GA with his trusted friend "Honky"The story she tell us, is thru her eyes and soul, as you read this story her Southern voice will take you there, she will having you crying on the page you are reading, the tears that you will shed will be sad tears and many happy tears. But through it all she had a passion for life, a dream and love for family that was undeniable.
