About this ebook

"If I Wasn't Me" is a children's book that shows kids the world of opportunities and embraces that 'you can be ANYTHING" attitude. But while Melissa McCauley Higgins encourages kids to dream about the future and think of the many of the future opportunities out there, she hopes they don't lose sight of who they are and what makes them happy. With so many different things we can be when we grow up, which one do we choose? Read and find out.

About the author

Melissa McCauley Higgins was born and raised in Quincy, Massachusetts - the middle of her parents’ five children.

Her mother, Sandra, was very actively involved with the local library - her love of books and literature was passed down to Melissa from a young age.

She attended Northeastern University and graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.

Melissa, and her husband, Steven, reside in Massachusetts where they raised their 4 children.

In her free time, Melissa is an avid karaoke singer and also participates in many church events and social groups.

Melissa had the idea for this book in 1999, typed it up on the computer, and printed it out as a word document. Twenty-one years later, her children dug it up out of the china cabinet and published it as a surprise gift for her 60th birthday.
