The story is excellent, but there were a few very tedious sections. The. In which Miss Darcy is shy and introverted is excruciating. You wonder if it's ever going to end. Then there's the whole issue with Catherine de burgh's daughter marrying fitzwilliam's horrible brother. There is no resolution and your left hanging. The main characters don't seem to have an issue with confrontation but when it comes to Lady Catherine they completely cower. Then the book abruptly ends with a lot of loose ends

C. Allyn Pierson is the nom-de-plume of a physician, who has combined her many years of interest in the works of Jane Austen and the history of Regency England into this sequel to Pride and Prejudice. She lives with her family and three dogs in Fort Dodge, Iowa.
