About the author

Fr. Patrick Hartin, a priest of the Diocese of Spokane, Washington, taught New Testament Studies and Christian Spirituality at Gonzaga University from 1995 to 2016. His doctorate in New Testament is from the University of South Africa (Pretoria). His books include James, in the Sacra Pagina Series (2003), Exploring the Spirituality of the Gospels; (2010), and A Window into the Spirituality of Paul; (2015), all from Liturgical Press. Fr. Hartin has written Scripture Insights from the First Sunday of Advent through the Ascension of the Lord. 

Tat-siong Benny Liew is Class of 1956 Professor in New Testament Studies at the College of the Holy Cross, USA. He is the author of Politics of Parousia (Brill, 1999), and What Is Asian American Biblical Hermeneutics? (University of Hawaii Press, 2008). In addition, he is the editor of the Semeia volume on The Bible in Asian America (with Gale Yee; SBL, 2002), Postcolonial Interventions (Sheffield Phoenix, 2009), They Were All Together in One Place? (with Randall Bailey and Fernando Segovia; SBL 2009), Reading Ideologies (Sheffield Phoenix, 2011), Psychoanalytical Mediations between Marxist and Postcolonial Readings of the Bible (with Erin Runions; SBL, 2016), Present and Future of Biblical Studies (Brill, 2018), and Colonialism and the Bible: Contemporary Reflections from the Global South (with Fernando Segovia; Lexington, 2018). Liew is also the executive editor of an academic journal, Biblical Interpretation (Brill); in addition, he is the series editor of T&T Clark's Study Guides to the New Testament (Bloomsbury). His doctorate is from Vanderbilt University. He wrote Scripture Insights from the Seventh Sunday of Easter through the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe.

Susan Gleason Anderson is a parish director of religious education and has served in catechetical ministry for nearly twenty years. She holds a master of arts degree from the University of Chicago Divinity School, where she studied theology. Susan lives in Silver Spring, Maryland, with her husband and two daughters. Susan has written the practices from the Seventh Sunday of Easter through the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe. 

Teresa Marshall-Patterson facilitates the Christian initiation process and liturgical ministries at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Andover, Kansas. Her MA in pastoral ministries is from St. Mary s University, Winona, Minnesota, and her MA in communications is from Wichita State University, Kansas. Teresa has written the practices from the First Sunday of Advent through the Ascension of the Lord.
