Loved Manny, any man that loves his animal that much is a good man to me. V. really took a lot of this story up and resolved some very dark issues he has been carrying. An interesting new player has stepped onto the field and may put the King Wrath at risk.

I think that I only finished this book because I had started the series and was interested in the other characters part in the story. I hope her new one in a few months don't disappoint. It did have some good points but I gave this one 4 stars mostly because I have liked this series over all, not this particular book.

J.R. Ward is awesome w/ this series!!! It's CRAZY addictive and once you read the first one, its all over w/ folks bc you'll be panicing bc you don't have the 2nd book yet! LOL It's the perfect combo of vampires, violence, love and sex! I've read all of then but the newest one that just came out Lover Reborn and I'm about to die to read it! By the 3rd or 4th book, you'll be wishing they would make an HBO series of it just to see the sexy men they play as Wrath, Vishous, Rhage, Phurry and Zsadist!! :-)
