As Claudia and Baxter unravel the truth about Ravi’s death, it threatens the secrets of the local cartel boss. When the four factions descend on the same turf, not everyone gets out alive.

Ten years ago, Claudia Seagal was a college student on Spring Break with her boyfriend, Ravi. Today she is an FBI Agent still looking to find who murdered her boyfriend back then. A witness has finally come forward, but what he has to say is not what she wants to hear. Seems like Ravi was not supposed to have her with him when they made the trip to Mexico. He was actually there to meet a man from one of the cartels. She makes a trip Mexico along with Baxter Cruise. Cruise is a robotics expert. What they find is that some very rare and expensive artifacts went missing from Mexico's National Archeological Museum the same time as Ravi was murdered. And a man recently released from prison is also looking for the missing artifacts ... and bodies are piling up. Is there a connection? Was Ravi working for the cartel? Did he participate in hiding the artifacts? And who has them now? It's up to Claudia and Baxter to find the answers .. but they need to hurry before they become the next victims. This is a well-written crime thriller. There's fast-paced action, danger at every turn, and characters that tie it all together. This is the 3rd book in this series and except for a couple of small mentions of things that have happened in previous books, it does well as stand alone.
