I have never read Jane Austen and I sampled this book to see if I would want to read the whole thing. I have always read many different authors and enjoyed different styles, but I felt Jane Austen was very wordy and hard to follow. No interest in downloading anything by her.

Has Jane Austen's humor and great characters, but I put it a step below Pride and Prejudice because the lead character is less flawed, and thus less interesting. I do really like how in the end, all characters, even the bad ones (but not, of course, Miss Williams, the orphaned bastard) gets a happy ending.

Jane Austen's tale of impoverished sisters who must deal with reduced circumstances combined with romantic travails and snobbery. Right up there with "Pride and Prejudice" I love this book! !
