This book was well written and contained mature thought processes about existence. While not being the best book ever written in this genre, it supplied interesting adventure and mystery. The basis for this series is the nature of A.I. and how it evolves to be both like and unlike humans. I will buy the next book as the author helped me connect with the characters in such a way that I'd like to see them go on with their journey.

This book blew me away. Even though there want much action in the beginning of the book, I still enjoyed reading it simply because of the characters and the world they live in. When the action finally did pick up, I got even more hooked. This book kept me up way past the times I was planning on going to sleep because I couldn't top reading it, and the last quarter just wouldn't allow me to tear myself away from it. I'm really looking forward to the sequel, but 5 months feels like an eternity away. 5 stars!!

I thoroughly enjoyed the whole series and the accompanying short. I am tired of all the good books that gets rushed into trilogies, and by the last book you feel like the author didn't even know what the series was about... But this trilogy, was a masterpiece of science fictional that also is a wonderfully crafted social commentary, of human needs and the way we 'are', and .. Perhaps... The way we should be. I am thankful to the author that I was able to read such a great series.
