I enjoyed these stories, but some of the plots could have been developed further. There could also have been more depth, in terms of character development. Some ideas, notably in the final story, were simplified, making the story pace feel rushed. I got the sense of a novella or novel, being reduced to short story length. The stories were charming, and I did find the marriage advertisement theme fascinating - a more old-fashioned version of online dating, in a sense.

I'm a big fan of romance genre. It's refreshing to read these stories and know what the outcome will be. No twists and turns. Just two people falling in love.

If looking for romance and love the books imply these, but reality is not present unless one is a dreamer. Simple reads for perhaps a preteen or a busy reader who needs a simple tale.
