About this ebook

The Satanic Curses. A collection of 16 short tales. Some designed to make you laugh, some to make you shiver. All written to make you think.

A compendium written over the years and now published as one.

Reviews of a few tales.

The Walk.

A lovely little yarn encapsulating the horrors that we dream up when we 'overthink it'. Best read when alone, or at least when you think you are alone!

Limbo.

Great atmosphere! Loved the story and idea... eerily suspenseful. Please do more.

Lust.

A lively, irreverent and intriguingly alternative depiction of Hell and its designer, luring in the subject inexorably through her lust to win.

Wrath.

Wrath is an interesting look behind a vengeful mind of a wordsmith, with a dark twist at the end. Recommended read.

Anxiety Spider.

Gosh this speaks to me so clearly, brutally accurate and particularly apposite in this current climate.

Violence.

Dark. Loved it!

Gluttony.

I really enjoyed that, it was short and snappy. I liked the added little kink twists too, so many steer away from dark taboo. It was refreshing!

Dream a little dream of me.

I liked it, I feel I've had that nightmare.

A Welcome Death.

Just gone through and read as a horror/fantasy fan. This is brilliantly dark with little glimmers of hope at the same time. It flows really well and I like the way you introduce things like the red shoes. It provides a brilliant flash of colour to a dark moment.

Fraud.

The Devil has set out a strong and compelling argument surrounding man's inability to look inwardly at our own failures, its fundamental lack of ownership over the responsibility we hold to ourselves to question everything we are told, and its eagerness to lay blame on someone without agency or full right of reply.

I love this book. Little snapshots of Hell and some demonic points of view. The warnings are clear.....Be better humans. You never know what's lurking in the shadows.....
