About this ebook

Falling in love with your best friend is hard enough. Being the woman he needs as a single dad is even harder.

After a decade of pining for a small town cop who isn’t mine, a clandestine drunken marriage with a stranger, and a terrifying incident I’d do anything to forget, the past is finally catching up to me.

Someone is plotting against me, and I need Nate now more than ever. But as disarming as his rugged smile can be, I can’t seem to let my guard down. Not enough to tell him the truth. Because if he knew…he’d turn his back on me forever.

With time running out, I’m quickly learning nothing can keep my secrets buried. And if the person coming after me isn’t stopped, it won’t just be my heart on the line.

I could lose my life.

If you loved the charm of Virgin River and the intrigue of Ginny & Georgia, then ALWAYS BEEN YOURS is for you.

The suspense in this book will keep you on the edge of your seat. Grace has been in love with her best friend forever. I like her. She pulls her big girls pants up and gets on with life in the best way she can living with pain and at times hope. I like her ex, Ryan a lot. Nate's family is great and they pretty much all know the truth behind how close Nate and Grace are and have been since at least high school. The story is good. The twists are pretty elusive to catch on to. The villian is on my radar and I don't like her. I want to slap Nate upside the head and every now and then want to shake Grace and wake her up about her surroundings, but overall a good story with in depth characters and great flow. I loved it. Friends to lovers is my favourite trope. Nate and Grace were really good.. Best friends.. but life happened and it was not their time when they were in high school. Now is their time and they have all the right and valid reasons to bond and open up about their feelings to one another and have their happily ever after.. The first part was slow paced.. the Second half where the suspense, action n thrill enters is entertaining. It wasnt a surprise and i was almost certain about the identity of the person he person who was troubling Grace, still it was exciting to read about it. I was sceptical about Maddie but she was good. The side characters, especially Ryan, Bailey, Max, Summer and Asher were good. I hope and wish the couples hinted at will get their own books.. I'd love to read their books.. I love what little I saw about Summer Asher and Max Bailey!!!

Best friends to lovers take my money. Grace and Nate have been best friends for years but not only that, Grace has loved him that long. This couple had so much chemistry I didn't know if they would ever figure it out. Add in secrets and a stalker. I was shocked to find out who it was. I would have never guessed It definitely will keep you on your toes it was a very engaging sweet suspense-filled book. If you love romance with a mystery I highly recommend this one. About the author

Alexa Rivers writes about genuine characters living messy, imperfect lives and earning hard-won happily ever afters. Most of her books are set in small towns, and she lives in one of these herself. She shares a house with a neurotic dog and a husband who thinks he’s hilarious.

When she’s not writing, she enjoys traveling, baking, eating too much chocolate, cuddling fluffy animals, drinking excessive amounts of tea, and absorbing herself in fictional worlds.
