I enjoyed this book so much. Who would have thought that a chance meeting at aged 15 would result in a forever love. A love so strong it that it could bring together two families that carried a hatred for each other that makes Romeo and Juliet seem like a fairytale. There was no love lost between the Treviños and the Drings, they had so much hatred for each other, yet Angelica and Deacon knew nothing of their pasts. Ironic then that they found each other and fell in love, and it was love, although if their families had anything to do with it, they’d never see each other again. But true love conquers all as Angelica and Deacon choose to leave the past behind and forge their own future. However they’ve got a lot of hoops to jump through, and I prayed to god that they would stick together, especially with all the speed bumps in their way. I just adored these two so much. A sweet, sexy and addictive read, my heart was in my stomach a few times waiting to see how this would play out. I received an advanced copy of this book. This is my honest review.

5 star Review Reckless Kiss by Tia Louise There was nothing I didn’t love about Reckless Kiss, it was a great read and one of my favourites from Tia Louise. This is Angelica Trevino and Deacon Dring’s story I was riveted from the first to the last chapter. Such was the strength of the writing and the fabulous characters, I was so engrossed that before I knew it I had read until 2 am, I simply had to see how their story would conclude. This was a well written, emotional roller coaster of a read that will draw you in so much that you cannot help but become invested in their story. There were plenty of swoon worthy moments throughout as well as some drama and angst. Throughout it all Tia Louise kept me absolutely on the edge of my seat as I read and cheered for Angelica and Deacon to get their happily ever after; they were so well suited. This was an entertaining read that was also smoking hot and ticked all the boxes for me.

Sigh… I just love getting a new book from Tia Louise. I try hard to hold back and not read it like a lush but it really can’t be helped. I’m obsessed. Louise created one of her deepest love stories yet. I was so entranced in Angel and Deacon’s story that I stayed up until 4am finishing this book. Angel and Deacon’s families are not friends… in fact; they dislike each other so much that you get the Hatfield and McCoy’s vibe. Just like the historical family feud, Trevino and Dring have some bitter grudges that seem to span generations. I feel like we get just a smidge of Louise’s suspense in this book… I’ve missed it to be honest. The Dirty Players and the Bright Light series have been my favorites from her but now this one joins the older series. I loved the forbidden aspect of this story and the way Deacon started to unravel the story of his and Angel’s families past. Louise’s writing is impressive. The heat level was through the rough… perhaps it’s the forbidden aspect to it but Lord have MERCY… this was HAWT! I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.
