About this ebook

Named a Best Romance Novel of 2022 by Oprah Daily, a Best Novel to Read for a Romantic Getaway by POPSUGAR, and a 2022 Christy Amplify Award Winner

It seems like a dream come true . . . until it forces her to question everything.

Brielle Adebayo is fully content teaching at a New York City public school and taking annual summer vacations with her mother to Martha's Vineyard. But everything changes when her mom drops a bombshell--Brielle is really a princess in the island kingdom of Ọlọrọ Ilé, off the coast of Africa, and she must immediately assume her royal position, since the health of her grandfather, the king, is failing.

Distraught by all the secrets her mother kept, Brielle is further left spinning when the Ọlọrọ Ilé Royal Council brings up an old edict that states she must marry before her coronation, or the crown will pass to another. Brielle is uncertain if she even wants the throne, and with her world totally shaken, where will she find the courage to take a chance on love and brave the perils a wrong decision may bring?

"I love a romance populated with characters you can truly root for. And this one has that and more. Coupled with Toni Shiloh's winning voice, it's a story not to be missed."--OPRAH DAILY

"Shiloh brings all the feels to In Search of a Prince. This romance with a touch of mystery will stay with you long after The End."--New York Times bestselling author RACHEL HAUCK

In Search of a Prince gives us the modern princess we've been waiting for. I enjoyed every moment."--BETHANY TURNER, award-winning author of Plot Twist

4.5 Stars “God will see you through. He’s bought you so far, Bri. If you look back at where you were and your journey to now, you’d know it. You’d see His handiwork.” This quote from In Search of a Prince sums up so much of the heart of this story by Toni Shiloh. It is beautifully written and wonderfully told. From the gorgeous cover to the last page, is has more gems than the princess’s tiara. The characters are so real and most of them are delightful to spend time with. Shiloh’s writing makes it obvious that she spent much time in researching her story’s location and culture, but her research is seamlessly incorporated into her story. The characters have a strong relationship with God and their prayers are an integral part of the book. I highly recommend this book for readers of contemporary Christian fiction especially those who enjoy a little fairy tale aspect to their reads. I congratulate Toni Shiloh on her first Bethany House publication. It is a winner! I was given a copy of this book by the publisher. All opinions stated are my own.

This book was so good! I was completely enveloped in this story from start to finish! Brielle, along with her friends and family, pulled me in and kept me flipping pages in an effort to find out what would happen next and how everything would turn out! The setting was amazing and I really felt like I was taking a trip to a tropical paradise with the characters. I fell in love with Bri’s grandfather, the king, right alongside our heroine and one aspect I really loved was the close friendship between Brielle and Iris and their shared faith that made it so much stronger. Reminiscent of Princess Diaries, this book was a blast! I really came to care for the characters and could almost feel the things they were going through myself, as I read. Author Toni Shiloh did an awesome job of making this story and its characters relatable on so many levels and I am astounded! I really enjoyed this novel and am very happy to have gotten to read In Search of a Prince as my debut into this author’s work!

5 stars, Breathless and Amazing IN SEARCH OF A PRINCE by Toni Shiloh Brielle Adebayo, a middle school teacher from New York finds out from her mother, that she, Bri, is a princess of the kingdom of Oloro Ile, Africa. The story is amazing, it seems so real, yet the author has used her imagination to construct a perfect kingdom that has a law on its books, that princesses must marry before they are allowed to rule. Then the search is on for the quest of the perfect prince. Highly recommend #insearchofaprince by #tonishiloh I have a special spot already picked out in my favorite bookcase, for this book to sit until I'm ready to read it again, which will be no time at all. I read my favorite books over and over again. There is danger, beautiful clothing, excitement, and an inspirational theme, all things that I adore to read in a book. Thankfully, there's no raunchy wordage, nor raunchy situations involved. A one hundred percent perfect novel. I humbly appreciate the complimentary copy of #insearchofaprince from #authortonishiloh #bethanyhousefiction. I was under no obligation to post a review. #StepIntoAShilohBook #InSearchOfAPrince #Christfic #christianroyaltyromance #Christianbooks #christiancontemporaryromance #diversefiction #diversereads #diverseauthor #BethanyHouseFiction #bethanyhousepublishers #newrelease #coverlove #bookrecommendation #royaltyromance
