It’s hard seeing Dani and Greg so happy when Luke’s fated mate is still missing or lying dead. Johanna saved his life using her powers but consigned him to a living hell without her. They’ll keep searching and when they find her he’ll spend the rest of eternity protecting and cherishing her. In the meantime, they’ll pursue and kill Zachariah’s minions and keep searching. I like books with strong female characters but not “perfect” bodies. There is good action to keep things interesting.

This series is so addictive. You will want to sit still and read all three books at once. I love Luke and Joanna’s relationship. The way they work so well together but yet again I guess that helps with being fated mates. Their journey together so far is so healing. I love how much of a bada$$ Joanna is. She is so awesome. I love Melissa Cummins books. She is such a great writer. I cannot wait to continue the series and read book three.

this was a great sequel in the Chronicles of The Otherworld series, it had everything that I enjoyed about the first book and thought the writing style was still there. I enjoyed how good the characters were and how they worked in this universe. It left me excited to read more in this universe and from Melissa Cummins.
