This is the first book I have read by this author, and it will not be the last one. It’s a story about Flynn Benson, who has moved to Montana after a failed rescue in his previous job. He is now head of the Crawford County Search and Rescue. Kat is a single mom to a special needs child. She had hoped to get the position in the Search and Rescue, that Flynn now has. Both characters were well developed. They are both have experienced losses, challenges,heartbreak, and like us, are imperfect. You will love Kat’s son and will want to hug all of them. A story of loss, challenges , hope and love. I was gifted this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

I think you should stop just going to the end of the book when I have only finished page 10 and want to go to page 11. It just told me I had finished the book and would not let me go back to page 11,

Flynn Benson has come and took a job as Head of Operations Crawford County Search and Rescue. Katherine Robinson ' s has moved to Marietta with her son where Flynn will be her boss.While Kat moved there after her mom died she had told her those where the best time's of her life and she is hoping to find her father. When her son Brady has to rescued by Flynn she finds out who she thought was her dad is not.Love how things go and they end up with a big family and Flynn and her find love.
