Ratings and reviews

Not having read any of the previous books in the series I did struggle at first to work out who was who. I enjoyed the whole book and towards the end it became very exciting.

Good Book. I enjoyed the characters. I even liked that the character that had Psychic abilities was not the heroine of the story. I did think it was a little unbelievable how everyone treated the heroine's sister's dreams so nonchalantly. I would have thought it less extraordinary if there was more questioning of the ability that she had. However, this may be due to my not reading other books by this author that had the same characters in it. Without handing out a spoiler in my review I want to say that I thought that the activities of the criminals were believable until it got to the criminal patriarch's behavior toward one twin. It was difficult for me to process how he treated his son near the end of the story without remorse.

Could be a decent story but I didn't get far enough to find out. The dialogue is so stilted and unnatural that I gave up after two chapters. No normal person continually mentions the name of the person they are talking to after every sentence. Once is enough to let the reader know who is being addressed, anything more is redundant.
