About this ebook

A sea of danger and magic. A family that can’t stay clear of the water…

Morgan refuses to let her twin brother suffer the same fate as their whale-obsessed father Captain Ahab. Despite her efforts to keep Nathan on dry land, her brother can’t resist the siren song of the sea and rumors of untold treasures on the Island of Nightmares…

Before Nathan can drop anchor and find his bounty, his crew encounters an ominous force. He’s convinced the creature is somehow connected to his father’s past and that one of his crew has been bitten. Could Nathan actually be on the run from a werewhale?

As the dark island fast approaches, Nathan’s adventure could end in a watery grave. It’s up to Morgan and her father’s old crewmate Ishmael to save Nathan’s life. But can she possibly change the mind of a man with the same stubborn streak as Captain Ahab?

Ahab’s Daughter is the rollicking first novel in The Werewhale Saga, a series of fantasy adventures. If you like tenacious heroines, supernatural twists, and high seas suspense, then you’ll love Ron Vitale’s entertaining follow-up to Herman Melville’s literary classic.

Morgan set out to fine her baby brother Nathan who had the called for the sea just like there father to fine the white whales. Morgan when to the man that was her father mate to get him to help fine her brother. From there a paranormal adventure laid ahead. Love the new twist of a Moby dick story. I couldn't read this fast enough and left me wanting more.

This is the best book about a sailing adventure I have ever read. I like the cleanliness of it. Anyone can read it be it adult or child. The twists are also plentiful and they kept me on the edge the whole time I've read it. Never has it felt so good to read a book that tosses my predictions back to my face.

I enjoyed this different adventure and would be interested to find out if Ahab and Nathan can be brought back to life.

About the author

Ron Vitale is a fantasy and science fiction author. Influenced by the likes of Tolkien, Margaret Atwood, C. S. Lewis, and Philip Pullman, he has a Master’s degree in English Literature from Villanova University where he studied the works of Alice Walker and Margaret Atwood. For his thesis, he interpreted Walker’s and Atwood’s novels through a psychological Jungian approach by showing how the central female protagonists use storytelling as a means to heal themselves from trauma. He lives in a small town outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and keeps himself busy by writing his blog and on learning how to be a good father to his kids all while working on his next book.
