About this ebook

Phantoms is gruesome and unrelenting…It’s well realized, intelligent, and humane.”—Stephen King

They found the town silent, apparently abandoned. Then they found the first body, strangely swollen and still warm. One hundred fifty were dead, 350 missing. But the terror had only begun in the tiny mountain town of Snowfield, California.

At first they thought it was the work of a maniac. Or terrorists. Or toxic contamination. Or a bizarre new disease.

But then they found the truth. And they saw it in the flesh. And it was worse than anything any of them had ever imagined...

An amazing terrifying read that I first read when I was 14 years old a long long time ago lol the one impressive thing that I remember about this book is, my father read it when he was doing five years in state prison he was surrounded by murderers and the worst kind of people you can imagine... but none of that scared him, THIS book gave him nightmares.

Fast paced! If you've never read Koontz...you're gonna freakin' love him now! You'll wish you had all day to never put this novel down! Dean is gripping, edge of your seat, suspense that you'll be sad when this story ends! Follow this book up with his "Watchers".

One of my first books in this genre. Kept me awake for a long time listening for the "bump" in the wee hours of the night. made me a Koontz fan... If you like to be scared, then this is the one of the best out there.
