About this ebook

“Danan is becoming a go-to author.”—New York Times Book Review

Naomi and Ethan will test the boundaries of love in this provocative romance from the author of the ground-breaking debut, The Roommate.

Naomi Grant has built her life around going against the grain. After the sex-positive start-up she cofounded becomes an international sensation, she wants to extend her educational platform to live lecturing. Unfortunately, despite her long list of qualifications, higher ed won't hire her.

Ethan Cohen has recently received two honors: LA Mag nominated him as one of the city's hottest bachelors and he became rabbi of his own synagogue. Low on both funds and congregants, the executive board of Ethan's new shul hired him with the hopes that his nontraditional background will attract more millennials to the faith. They've given him three months to turn things around or else they'll close the doors of his synagogue for good.

Naomi and Ethan join forces to host a buzzy seminar series on Modern Intimacy, the perfect solution to their problems--until they discover a new one--their growing attraction to each other. They've built the syllabus for love's latest experiment, but neither of them expected they'd be the ones putting it to the test.

We met Naomi Grant in The Roommate by Rosie Danan and now we get her story. Naomi may have first made a name for herself as a performing adult star but now she has co-founded a successful sex positive company. Looking to expand her company into teaching in person classes, Naomi attends a seminar where she meets Ethan Cohen, the rabbi at Beth Elohim. Ethan is gorgeous and Naomi is instantly attracted to him. When Ethan offers Naomi the chance of teaching a Modern Intimacy seminar at his synagogue to increase the attendance, she jumps at the chance. As Naomi and Ethan spend more time together, sparks begin to fly and these two find themselves going through Naomi's class syllabus at record speed. Though the seminar is increasing attendance at Beth Elohim, the synagogue's board of directors isn't too happy with the idea of Naomi being involved. As the situation starts to escalate, Ethan is forced to chose between the job he loves and woman he loves. Just when it looks like all is lost, the forces all come together and Naomi and Ethan get their happy ending. I just loved Naomi and Ethan. Naomi is such a great kick a$$ type of girl. She has a lot of baggage in her past and she has learned how to handle it. Ethan was just as great. He was such a perfect type of guy....sweet, gentle but then so strong in his faith. Together they make for a perfect couple.

About the author

Rosie Danan writes steamy, bighearted books about the trials and triumphs of modern love.
