It was an average experience and I don't plan to ever read it again... even though it's a cinderella retelling the plot was unique and interesting... Ella wearing her mother's dress and old slippers instead of a magical dress feels more realistic and the berry poisoning twist at the end was also intriguing... Luke's lack of respect for Ella's opinions (he always tried to distract her with kiss instead of actually answering) and him kissing her for the first time without consent was truly frustrating though and while I can understand that he was worried for his brothers he also don't have the right to just ignore his wife's sister's safety... it was a good thing that Adrian finally knocked some sense in his thick brain... Adrian's good character is the only reason that I'm considering to continue this series

A welcome and perfect twist to an otherwise overdone story. I enjoyed this Ella
