Wildly imaginative & intensely hot. Langlais easily and seamlessly combines science fiction with an erotic relationship full of chemistry to create a one of a kind whole that will keep you hooked. The suspense throughout underlined everything that happened while the twists and turns in the plot kept me on my toes. Langlais delves into the concept of cyborgs well, allowing readers to discover what is expected and what is possible. I loved how we not only find out where they came from and how they came about, but also how they differ from one another. The many personalities that we encounter really brought the concept of cyborg to life for me. I appreciated the different writing style for Joe’s POV. It made me feel as if I were experiencing his thought patterns, and how they differ slightly from a human’s. Joe’s ‘heart problems’ had me in stitches. Seeing a cyborg rediscover his human emotions was a novelty. Langlais develops Joe’s confusion over it in such a manner that it was easy to understand. Chloe’s strength and fragility vie with one another to create a character that I found myself rooting for. Will you be able to put this one down and walk away? Not very likely. Be prepared for one sleepless night.

I'm so in love with this author (well her books) but for real u r o1 of the best author. And I read a lot I have so many of ur books. I have more of ur books then any other author. And will be getting more. The money I pay for ur books r so worth it plz don't stop writing. We need ur words. Thanks you so much

Scifi action romance! For those who enjoy scifi and happy endings, this is a twofer. I recommend this book for an entertaining read. I gave it 4 stars because for me, the sex parts were a little too much; I would have preferred a little more action but to each his own...
