I received this book as an ARC copy in exchange for an Honest Review. The Sexy Boss – Sedition does exactly what it sets out to achieve in the vision of both Authors. Through the course of Abby and Nolan’s path to happiness, there is a good equal focus to romance, mystery and growth as these two both try to navigate their way to each other and their happy ever after. Overall I enjoyed The Sexy Boss – Sedition. It was a nice steady pace and a pleasant read. I thought Abby and Nolan had an really endearing awkwardness when revealing their attractions to each other, and I would recommend it for someone who doesn’t want too much of an immersion into erotica, but instead wants a journey of two strangers from a fateful meeting to a happy ending. (On a side note, I also liked the little nod to Explore Her, More of Her in mentioning ‘Mes Fleurs’ wine.)

R. for allowing me to be a part of the ARC team for this series, if this first installment is any indicator of what we can expect in future installments, these are going to be an awesome few months for me and my Kindle and Google tablet!!! The moment that Liza goes on maternity leave, the action begins in this complicated love story from Z.L. Arkadie and T.R. Bertrand. Abby is Liza’s personal assistant who has bigger aspirations (becoming a part of the Art world), but like soo many people, has gotten trapped in a job that provides stability but is going nowhere fast because she is not living up to her true potential. She is thrown into a complicated situation when she meets her new boss, Nolan Patrick. He is the epitome of handsome, wealthy, intelligent and chivalrous. Abby and Nolan both begin to realize that there is something brewing between that has nothing to do with work, which is when the roller coaster ride of events begin to unfold. This story is filled with love, intrigue, a mysterious death, scheming partners in crime, romance, fraud, etc. The tapestry that the authors have woven together is fantastic. There are just enough twists and turns to keep you on the edge of the page. There is just enough romance, to keep you rooting for the relationships that evolve in this tale. Abby is not the typical female protagonist that you see in these types of stories. She is smart, pretty, clever and strong. She doesn’t feel sorry for herself, she is not constantly depending on the leading man to save her. She comes from a loving family that has taught her the art of being independent but also how love and strong relationships are equally as important. She is a well-rounded character that makes you root for her success. Nolan is a very lovable male protagonist in this book. He doesn’t use his good looks and wealth as a means to an end, he is genuine and cares deeply for his family and eventually Abby in the same way. Please give this story a read, you will definitely enjoy it and recommend it to your friends! This is a great collaboration from Z.L. and T. R. and I am excited for the future installments of the Sexy series.

Can't Get Enough!! Loved it!! **ARC provided by author for a honest review** The Sexy Boss Sedition is a great read. I liked the characters. Abby is the type of woman I like to read about. She's strong and independent, and doesn't need a man to take care of her. Nolan, I just loved him, a true gentleman. I liked how he was sure of himself but was not all alpha male, and always treated women with respect. A true romance, suspense and mystery. I couldn't put it down!! I can't wait for the next installment of the sexy series!! Loved it!!

 Z.L. Arkadie is from Southern California and T.R. Bertrand is from Minnesota. You’ll find elements of each authors backgrounds in the stories. The authors are planning on expanding the number of stories in The Sexy Series. Currently, the two are collaborating on “The Sexy Artist” and “The Sexy Chef” scheduled to be out later this year (2016).
