Intense book continuation of story line with same characters and new ones. Couldnt put it down once into it. Thrilling plane ride into remote part of Mexico, ending up in a plane crash. Continued search to solve mystery of death of several, and why they happened. Had me sitting on the edge of my seat several times. Can hardly wait to read the next book.

The queen is at it again! Romance, thrills, suspense, and add in family, and what do you get? An amazing Barbara Freethy novel! This is the second in a trilogy, with the third still to come. A distraught phone call from Katherine's brother, TJ, leads her back to Jake, the man whose heart she broke. Romance and adventure ensue as Katherine and Jack crash land in remote Mexico, leaving them on the run and off to find TJ. Will Jake forgive Katherine? Will they find love? Will they find TJ? The way Ms. Freethy weaves her stories together is expert! I am so looking forward to reading the 3rd installment!!!

Great 2nd book in the Lightning series- some questions are answered but looking forward to Daniella's story in summer Rain to answer all my questions. Will keep your interest just as all of Barbara's books continue to do.
