Really loved this story. I was reluctant, because I don't normally like witch stories, but I had just finished the first Aurora Sky book by the same author and wanted to read more. This was free while I waited to get a play card, so I thought, why not? I really enjoyed this book, probably more than Aurora Sky. Graylee, newly awakened after death has to pretend to be her sister since she's doing part time duties in said sister's body. She enlists the help of some witch friends of dubious repute as she tries to get her body back. Lots of magic, lots of bad boys, lots of fun. The only reason this gets 4 stars and not five is some bad grammar and poor Spanish. "Un problemo momento" does not mean a minute problem. It means a moment problem, essentially, it's gibberish. It's throwing a word into google translate and not realizing that the English has two meanings depending on how you pronounce it. I think she meant "un problemo minusculo," but it was a good laugh. I wish I knew French to know how well she did with that.

I'm not usually into stories like this but this author is amazing. Her ability to twist a storyline into unseen directions and bring all the fragments back together is both astounding and inspiring. The typical text for a story like this feels juvenile and unoriginal but this author clearly knows how to paint scenes in words of many colors!

Enjoyed the story, but would have liked it if the mother was a little more aware of her daughter Charlene who is so bad!
