An Alaska Setting for Romance. A heartfelt story about Daphne from Georgia who decides to go to Alaska and spend a month there to figure out her next steps. Daphne has gone through two devastating family events that has caused her to re-evaluate her life. By chance she picks a resort in Alaska owned by the handsome Flynn, who not only owns the resort but also a small airline for site-seeing and deliveries. He is the brother/parent to his three siblings when they lost their mother six years before and he left the Air Force to be with them. The two main characters were written beautifully and with heart. To be honest there are parts that I became tearful but it was worth it in the end. I did end up reading this book in one sitting, it just flowed that seamlessly from chapter to chapter. Highly recommending this book for your reading enjoyment and am looking forward to the next Alaskan couple, Elias and Cammi. Peace.

What a wonderful way to start a series. This has sizzling chemistry, betrayal, loss, drama and so much more. Daphne signed up to spend a month at an adventure expedition resort in Alaska. Her four year old son Brandon died a year ago with devastated her. She use to have a restaurant in Atlanta and her ex cheated on her with a friend/coworker. She loved to cook and bake so she took out a loan to open her bakery and cafe. Flynn flies tourist all over Alaska and is raising his sixteen year old sister Cat. His family owns Walker Adventure and is one of Alaska's premier outdoor expedition resorts. He left the military seven years ago to come home and take care of his siblings (Grant, Nora and Cat) after his mother died. His business owns seven small planes. This was so well written, has wonderful characters and a gripping storyline that will have you devouring the pages.

Great start to a new series. Crash Into You is the first book in the ‘Dare With Me’ series by J.H. Croix, it’s also my first read from this author. I love discovering new to me authors and I’m happy to say, Ms. Croix has been added to my ever-growing to-go lists of authors. It was a great start to a new series, the main characters were well fleshed out and had some serious baggage to deal with. Daphne especially has a lot going on, in her head and her life. She needs a break and decides to hit the Alaskan wilderness in search of it. Flynn is an ex-airforce pilot who’s returned home to run his parents’ company Walker Adventures. Sparks fly from this first meeting and they share a strong attraction that only grows as time goes on. This was a sexy, but sweet, slightly angsty and slow-burning story, one you’ll want to savor as you and the characters get to know each other, and all the secondary members of the tale too. I’m already looking forward to the next installment.
