How anyone could live through Kira’s past tormented by the Bratva in Russia, yet then demonstrate so much unwavering strength to put her life together and still strive to put her family first. It’s her inner warrior that drew me to her character. Naturally it is perfection watching the gruff Maykl instantly fall into her charms and watching her surrender to him. The pages are filled with action, betrayal and smoldering heat!! The perfect ending to and outstanding series.

It was so easy to get caught up in Maykl and Kira's story. The smartly crafted combination of juicy drama, taut tension, sizzling heat, pulse-pounding action, and nerve-wracking suspense will have you glued to the pages as your heart gets a workout. I found it simply impossible not to feel for these characters, and I loved them as a couple because they really tug on your heartstrings and have you swooning.

I love this series, but was not sure this story would work, after reading the first chapter. Silly me, I should have remembered it was a Renee Rose book and a good time was in my reading future. Other than the quick resolution to the issues facing Kira and Maykl, I found this book a great addition to the Chicago Bratva series. I received this book as an ARC and wholeheartedly recommend it and any other book in the series for a hot read.
