an instalove story of a known hockey player and a fan.. with problems thrown into their lives by a vicious goldigging ex and a nosey busybody of a friend..although it could be that matt was just looking out for his friend and afraid he was gonna get hurt again but it came acroos like he was trying to derail the two lovers' relationship.. and shooting darts on kat's fragile emotional stability..she who is sometimes annoyingly and tediously insecure. But Kris never let go even when his trust get a little bent towards the end. Nice read as a whole.

Just reread this book, after trying to find it again to read. Kat mom (Cece) is a real piece of work. I feel like she knew what she was saying and doing to Kat to act innocent when Kris "confronted" her. Bravo for Kris for standing up to Cece for Kat. Kat finally saw herself as beautiful thanks to Kris.

Deleted after a few chapters. The story just drags with so much self-doubt. It just became annoying.
