About the author

I first discover Paganism and Wicca when I was sixteen. If there were any other practicing pagans in my neck of the woods, I never would have guessed. I learned by reading whatever my local bookstore had in its tiny, one-shelf "occult" section and diving headfirst into the experience with the exuberance of youth. Eventually, I met a circle of like-minded explorers in college and the fledgling internet further widened my understanding of my faith.

Fast-forward twenty years and I found myself a solitary witch in a suburban setting. Back to being the only pagan I know. Every day is a battle to balance work, family, community and my spiritual needs. One I am winning.

The Solitary Suburban Pagan Guides is a series meant to share insights and suggestions for connecting life and magic in a hectic world.
