Midnight-5* Already in love with this series and can't wait to see what will happen next. Peaking the imagination full force, this first book in the series doesn't solve the mystery of the mansion, it lays the foundation and very enticingly introduces the history while simultaneously doing a great job of bringing together these two destined mates. Glad to be back close to Tarker's Hollow. Light-5* Another captivating fantasy romance. Tristan and his superiority attitude was hilarious. I love that although Tabitha could have that same attitude, she instead is humble. Opposites attract?? There's a lot more than that going on. His presence adds the element of light to the darkness his brother added and this couple soon discover how they complement one another. Enjoyed this new element and looking forward to the next adventure, righting wrongs and additional revelation of the mystery of the mirror. Wilds-5* Wow, amazing paranormal elements and a wild adventurous ride deeper into the mystery of the mirror. I think this one is even more emotional than the others in this series so far. After this, I can't even imagine where this is going next but I can't wait to get there. Never a dull moment, every addition gets more bewitching. Pain-5* Wow, I had jumped the gun with Cullen and was a bit antsy about how this King, so set on revenge, was going to fit in with the rest of his Fae brotherhood. I anxiously waited for the bomb to drop and couldn't wait to discover how Dorian, Tristan, Bron and their queens would all come together to take care of this business. In the end, I think this one is the most emotional in this series, things aren't always how them seem and it's so easy to get caught up the trap of believing (about yourself) the perception of others. Love Jennifer, she is so calm, compassionate. As she comes in her own, she's no weakling because she has the strength to help this powerful King see clearly and when that bomb drops, their love shines bright as they rekindle their bond. Never a dull moment, I couldn't put it down and despite my preconceptions about Cullen, I am thrilled that his story is my new favorite in the series!

This series of books is addicting. Each book is a standalone but so much better when read in order. The beloved characters are colorful, rich in detail and strengths, humor painted with serious tones. These books are playful and intense, with so many twists and turns. Page turners are the norm for Tasha Black and this set of books hold true. Bravo!!
