About this ebook

Vydor is riding a wave of success, but now his ship, the Dragon Claw, is being sent to investigate a mysterious event deep within the Empire’s space. A secret research colony has fallen silent and the forces sent to investigate were never heard from again.

A new enemy has come to the Empire bringing with it dark powers that were abandoned long before the Empire was born. Powers that were thought to be legends and myths.

It's up to Vydor to keep this force at bay and protect the Empire, but it may come at the cost of his faith and shake the foundations of the Empire itself.

Perhaps one of the worst books I've ever read! The story is beyond rediculous and the plot is absolutely nonsensical. The author fails to describe characters, events, or settings and provides no consistent reasoning for really anything that happens. The most shocking aspect was that the author was able to find a publisher to put out this steaming pile of garbage! Like a terrible car wreck you may find it hard to turn away from something this bad. Trust me, in this case, 'free' is far too expensive.

Very interesting story concept. Was maybe a little too magical for my taste (i.e. robes, wands, and the like) but overall enjoyed the melding of the two genres. Was not a huge fan of the writing itself and found it difficult to follow at times but the story seemed to make up for that. Also, thought the ending was a little too 'easy.' I was expecting (and maybe hoping for) a little more conflict. Nonetheless I recommend this read and I think just about any sci-fi nerd out there will enjoy it.

Are you looking for a book with lots of action, and yet no sense of challenging situations? Then this book is for you. I paid $0.01 for this book and felt I still paid too much. The beginning of this book showed so much potential. But by halfway through, when literly everything seemed to workeout for the main character without a single hitch, I was wondering where the heart racing close encounters and near escapes were? Well let me tell you, there is none to be found in this book to my knowledge. Having said that, this is my opinion which will vary from others.
