Before I began my dive into the bookends Frank Peretto, I had several people familiar with his books tell me to avoid The House. They said it was boring and not as good as his other works. They were wrong. I was so entranced by the book I read it in 3 evenings. Unlike some of Peretti's other works this one is a deep, extended metaphor for the human spiritual condition, and doesn't really make sense until the end. I highly recommend.

As always Franks books are full of mystery and action with a spiritual meaning underlying the story. I've found House to be no less than great as I have with all of Franks novels. I must give props to Ted Dekker also for his contribution to the story. Well done
