If this was the first published novel written by a novice writer, I would say it was a promising start to a possible career as a writer. But James Patterson is not a novice writer and 'Blowback' is not James Patterson's first novel. Which makes 'Blowback' a simple generic poorly written thriller with a barely plausible plot that was only made remotely plausible thanks to the Presidency of the 45th President of the United State: Donald Trump. This book at best, is a waste of time to read and at worst, the pages should be used as toilet paper.

A great read,but the editing was poor. there were several instances where the wrong names were used.
