4.5⭐ Guarding Gwen was a brilliantly intense romance. That had pockets of action, mystery, and suspense, and it easily kept me guessing until the very end, which is something not many authors these days seem to be able to do. And I loved the characters, particularly the broody, growly Simon and his romance with Gwen was full of chemistry and heat, and it was great to read; which is why I would happily recommend this story to others.

How good is this author? If you live your romance with action, mystery and hero's who'll do whatever it takes to protect their heroine, this author is for you. A second chance, actress/bodyguard type trope with a twist. I LOVED the hero. All gruff and growly. And I loved the heroine eventually too. Though could have done without the little attempt at a game at the start. But what are you going to do carrying around a 19yr olds heartbreak... ;P All's well that ends well, with a tense ride a few clever misdirects. Don't skip forward! Dual POV, open door heat, well written and very enjoyable. I've enjoyed the cast of characters and am very much looking forward to reading more!
