Great story My only complaint was that I found Caroline a bit too good to be true..... On the other hand, I could totally relate to her behaviour in relation to the controlling narcissist. I will definitely be reading the next book in the trilogy

beginning was really nice but middle part became too boring to handle. all i read was about only 'Cade Cade blah..looks like author was obsessed with only one character, very poor romance and now i Know why book is free cause it's not worth it!

Set in the deep South x about a young woman x meeting her father for the first time in many years x seeing a ghost from the past x and following family history x l didn't want to put it down and devoured each page xx

About the author

Judy McDonough is originally from central Arkansas and has a deep love for the South. After two years of college, she joined the U. S. Navy. She was stationed in New Orleans for her entire enlistment where she met her husband. Throughout their marriage, they have lived in Louisiana, Tennessee, Texas, and they just started a new adventure living up North for the first time ever in Cleveland, Ohio with their three young boys.
