About this ebook

The government can do anything they want to him—anything at all...
Mark Taylor knows his actions scream guilty—but he was only trying to stop the horrible terrorist attack. Instead, the government labels him an enemy combatant and throws him in the brig with no rights, no trial, and no way to prove his innocence.
He's just a regular guy—a photographer—who finds himself in an extraordinary situation when an antique camera he buys at a dusty Afghanistan bazaar produces photographs of future tragedies. Tragedies he's driven to prevent.
His frantic warnings about September 11th are ignored but put him in the government cross-hairs where he learns what being labeled an 'enemy combatant' really means...

Considering I got this book free, I have to say that it was pretty good. It's not the best book I've ever read, in some places the story drags with parts that seem irrelevant but, mostly the story is pretty decent, I would of liked a bit more tidying up at the end as it seemed to end rather suddenly. Other than that if you can get this book free or cheap ($3-4 at the most) I'd say its worth a read.

Very nice story and captivating. Just discovered this author. Though would have liked mark to be compensated or publicly apologized to and rewarded. Just imagine all he went through and this is that he lives in d US not a country where human right are not recognised

A little slow initially, and too long in captivity for the main character but it became interesting once he got out and bodes well for future books in this series.

About the author

M.P. McDonald makes a living from taking your breath away... then giving it back via a tube or two. She lives in a frozen land full of ice, snow, and abominable snowmen. On the days that she's not taking her car ice-skating, she sits huddled over a chilly computer, tapping out the story of a camera that can see the future. She hopes it can see summer approaching, too
