About this ebook

Anna Palmer could not have imagined her life would be turned upside
down when she arose to face yet another grueling day of shift work on
her Surgery Unit. Anna, a tired, burnt out Nurse meets her match in
lady-loving, self-worshipping Tony who can't tolerate minor surgery and
perceives Anna as a bossy know-it-all, standing up and embarrassing him
in front of the Doctor and especially his buddies. This throws Tony on a
slow slide into obsession and retaliation to redeem his machismo. He
stalks and attacks Anna over and again to reclaim himself, only to fall
further into failure and madness. Anna`s nightmare is hers alone. She
will do anything to protect her family, including staying silent. But
can she stop an animal and prove to her husband, coworkers and police
she is innocent of any wrongdoing? Their final meeting will be a life
and death struggle and only one can be the winner.
