About the author
George Redmonds is a leading authority on names and how they relate to localities. He has been researching surnames and first names for 5 and 3 years respectively, and was awarded his Ph.D in surnames at Leicester in 197. His most recent work includes Surnames and Genealogy: A New Approach.
