Chasing Allie is pure joy mixed with utter despair. This dangerous mixture will have you daring to hope and then screaming in terrified frustration as events much bigger than our characters play out their sinister performance. Sometimes life isn’t as cut and dried as we think it should be. It’s messy, sticky, and doesn’t like to nicely transition to the next part of your life. Once our heart is set on a dream, we need to do all we can to see it come to life. However, be careful that you don’t give up your heart and soul to that dream in case your expectations fall short. Life doesn’t usually care about the small details like we do, so don’t reveal all of your cards out before the game ends. Allie is faced with the horrors of a life that should never exist - not even in the imagination. She fights with everything in her to make a life that she has always wanted. With Chase by her side, she can easily see that life coming true. Finally, she is able to see a light in the distance that grows a hope inside her that she refuses to let go of easily. In the midst of finding our dreams, we need to be careful that we don’t wander off our path for even the slightest waver can find us falling off a sheer cliff to our death. Will Allie finally begin living a life that is really and truly hers, or will her past creep up behind her and suck her back in before she knows what’s happening? I absolutely loved coming back to these beautiful characters! It truly felt like going home. Watching the happiness that Allie finally finds made my heart burst with joy. Oh, how she deserves this! Some things in life don’t seem to ever last long enough, and when circumstances begin to take a turn for the worse, she finds herself once again lost and hurting. I know that things don’t always work out like we plan, but my heart hurt to see her walk the path that has been thrust upon her. No matter what happens next, I know that Allie will survive, and that her inner strength has not run out. She is a fighter and a survivor. Meli Raine has created an incredible sequel to Finding Allie. The development of her wonderful characters is thoroughly amazing, and the overall story is full of more twists and turns than I ever expected. I was literally on the edge of my seat as I finished this story, and I know the ending will undoubtedly blow my mind.

Chasing Allie (Breaking Away Series #2) by Meli Raine ** I received an ARC from the Author in exchange for my honest review ** Book two picks right up where book one left off. I was quickly pulled off the cliff and thrown into a riveting story full of passion, treachery, love, suspense and so much more. I could not turn the pages fast enough to find out what was happening with Chase and Allie. This book was both heartwarming and heartbreaking. Book two closes with a doozy of a cliffhanger. I cannot wait for book three.

Chase and Allie are lust at first sight couple. She gets hurt badly in a bike accident. He tries to take to a place where they can be alone, but they still haven't gone all the way. Chase is a biker; his dad is the leader of the club and wants him to take over for him. Chase doesn't want it, he wants to be a Hollywood stuntman. A good read lots of action and romance.
