This book covers the construction of a Tesla coil literally from scratch. It includes information on winding your own primary transformer and building a motor for a rotary spark gap. Having this level of detail makes it interesting, but it takes for granted that the reader will have access to facilities for metal casting, woodworking, and so forth that a modern reader may not have. Further, some of the materials used in this design, such as cotton-insulated wire, no longer exist. This is largely because they were replaced with modern materials that are better. In all, it is an interesting historical reference, but not a practical Tesla coil design for the modern coiler.

If these books where not in existence our future inventors would not have the resources to learn.
