This is a great book, some of Lemony Snicket's best work. But don't take my word for it, read it yourself! You'll find out about a suspicious taxi, identical twins, a backwards hotel, and people the Baudelaires hoped never to see again. Even if the Baudelaire orphans did not thoroughly enjoy this chapter in their lives, you will.

Brett Helquist's celebrated art has graced books from the charming Bedtime for Bear, which he also wrote, to the New York Times–bestselling A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket to the glorious picture book adaptation of Charles Dickens's A Christmas Carol.
