About this ebook

Carissa Jordan's journey through college takes an unexpected turn when she meets Danny Greene. Initially believing him to be "the one," their relationship hits rocky terrain after a shared tragedy. As grief consumes Danny, he seeks solace in other women and lashes out at Carissa emotionally, leaving her torn between loyalty and self-preservation.

Haunted by guilt over past events, Carissa feels obligated to stay by Danny's side even as their bond disintegrates. Desperate for distraction, she throws herself into academics and sorority life, where she crosses paths with Bradley Moore—a captivating presence who challenges her perceptions of love and worthiness.

Drawn to Bradley's charisma and genuine affection, Carissa wrestles with conflicting emotions. Can she untangle herself from the web of obligation that ties her to Danny and embrace the happiness she deserves with Bradley? Or will her loyalty to the past continue to dictate her future, leaving her stranded in a cycle of unfulfilling relationships?

As Carissa navigates the complexities of love and obligation, she discovers that sometimes the hardest choices lead to the greatest liberation.
