About this ebook

He’s my boss’s brother. Intense and stoic. Humble, disciplined ex-military. And built like a gorgeously rugged tank that somehow manages to make me feel dainty.

I’ve been keeping a very big, very necessary secret from his entire family for years now. I’ve never liked having to do it. In fact, it’s why I’ve been avoiding him from practically the first day we met.

Because strangely, I want to let him in. But being an FBI agent is the only thing I’ve ever felt was my true calling. Losing everything I’ve spent years building would just decimate me.

Problem is, I don’t have a choice anymore. I’m desperate for the kind of help only he can provide. Like I’ve always told my sister, I’d have to be no-other-choice desperate for it to come to this.

And I am.

Best Turk story ever - Sutton finally gets his girl! Sutton manages to be both sweet and a bad-ass while mooning over his twin brother’s FBI partner, Maddy, for the past two years. Maddy treats him like a stranger every time they meet until she asks Sutton to befriend her nephew, Caiden. Caiden has Asperger's Syndrome and regresses after his father's death. Sutton agrees to help, of course (would any of Lindy Turk’s kids refuse to help someone in need???) and finally gets the opportunity to make his move on Maddy. Sutton and Maddy’s courtship brings out all the feels. There’s laughter, tears, obnoxious cousins, mouthy brothers, rappelling, Leah, cougars, mint tea, and more tears. There’s not enough of Leah’s dad, Jake, though. All the Turk brothers are pretty awesome, but Sutton is in his own league of wonderful. He's kind, funny, patient, and doesn't take himself too seriously. Walker is now my second favorite Turk. I loved, loved, loved Sutton and Maddy’s story. Kudos to Christa Wick on sensitively writing about spectrum disorders. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
