About this ebook

The fourth book of the #1 New York Times bestselling I Am Number Four series!

John Smith—Number Four—thought that things would change once he and Nine reunited with the others. But he was wrong. After facing off with the Mogadorian ruler and almost being killed, the Garde realize they are drastically unprepared. Now they're hiding out in Nine's Chicago penthouse, trying to figure out their next move.

Even with the return of an old ally, these superpowered teens aren’t strong enough yet to take on an entire army. To defeat their enemy, the Garde must master their Legacies and learn to work together as a team. And when they receive a sign from Number Five—the last missing member of the Garde—they know they are close to all being together finally. But could it be a trap? Time is running out, and the only thing they know for certain is that they have to get to Five before the Mogs do.

Michael Bay, director of Transformers, raved: “Number Four is a hero for this generation.” This epic young adult series is perfect for fans of action-packed science fiction like The Fifth Wave series by Rick Yancey, The Maze Runner series by James Dashner, and Orson Scott Card’s Ender’s Game.

The battle for Earth’s survival wages on. Read the rest of the series: #5: The Revenge of Seven, #6: The Fate of Ten, and #7: United as One.

Don’t miss the first book in the brand-new I Am Number Four spin-off series: Generation One.

I love this series & I'm anxious for the next book already. However the entire book feels forced, as if he's trying to milk out the series. The book felt very very short (I finished it in barely 48 hours without any prolonged reading.) It leaves me feeling really unsatisfied, I don't feel like it was worth paying $11 for such a cliffhanger ending. It raises questions but barely pushes the plot forward.

the human characters feel like they should of died or been removed a long time ago. Sarah and Sam did their part in book 1 and 2, but book 2 and 3 were sooo good because it ditched those dead weight human characters. Now in book 4 all u get is this lovey dovey sarah and John moments throwing rationality out the window just because "love"....guess what the stories were infinitely better when it stayed with cepans and garde. It's just a mess and ruins the flow at least Sam is helpful and actually has purpose

Wish I hadn't read it so quickly. Also wished the original author of I Am Number Four got his share of royalties and there for estates with the project. His/her writing style was much better. This book lacked depth and had an immature feel about it. So much potential wasted. The ending was intense. I still love the series and will count down the days until the next installment or novella is released. Be sure to read "The Forgotten Ones", as it fills you in on Adam.
