It's a great project full of valuable information, however I would not buy a hard copy of it. The entire dictionary (not just this volume) is available online through the Naval History and Heritage Command's website. They publish all new ship histories there as well, including re-worked histories of older vessels. It's a great project and an amazing resource, however this edition isn't of interest unless you are a collector specifically looking for a 1970s hard copy.
