Kavitha Akka, At the outset, let me congratulate you for this amazing work! Every chapter was so enthralling and displays the depth of your spiritual knowledge. No matter how busy the day would be, it became a family ritual to read this book before going to bed. My husband and daughter also equally enjoyed reading this great work! I am amazed at your depiction of every single detail about anything from a beautiful woman to the Great Union! I was able to visualize every small detail about Urvashi, her feelings as an innocent daughter and her feelings for Ranga, her adventurous nature, Ranga’s view about marriage and following the spiritual path, Viru’s quest and His Love for Ma Kali, Madhav’s genuine feelings and Bhakthi for his Guru, Vittal’s apprehensions about Urvashi, his responsibility to guide Ranga, his feelings for his friends Abhirama & Srivatsa and his Guru Sidhdhaacharya and for Subhadra, the angry Baladeva and his helper Ramji, and everybody’s Quest for the Great Union!! I loved the fantastic depiction of every scene and was able to literally visualize the mysterious forest, the secret paths, the beautiful village Vamsha, the banyan tree, the secret passage and the temples. The fantastic part of the book was about the Great Union and your description of the Mountain Mandhara , your interpretation of Devas & Asuras, the churning of Ocean which represents the churning of one’s own thoughts in the abyss of infinite mystery of life. I am speechless about your imagination and interpretation of different rituals that were performed. Your perception of scrolls, Dakshinavarthi Shankha, Chakra and Gadha and their positions with respect to Anantha that leads to the parallel world shows that you are extraordinary and God has been with you through out while creating this master piece!!! Absolutely enjoyed reading the Sanskrit verses and their meaning when you started every chapter. I will give a 5 star for this Great work and would absolutely recommend everyone including kids and elders to read it. It is sensuous, thrilling, artistic, sentimental and spiritual. I fell in love with this book so much that I read it thrice with the same interest and excitement I am sure you have that fire within you to write more such great work. Not only me, but by husband and daughter are also very eagerly looking forward for your next book. ! We are a total fan of you, Kavitha Akka. May Lord Jagannatha continue to inspire you, throughout your spiritual journey!

About the author

Kavitha Kalyan grew up in an orthodox family dominated by the men folk. She often questioned the rules governing tradition and its bias towards men, but scarcely received an answer that convinced her. The concept of spiritualism started out as an element of curiosity but as she discovered the nature of her faith, she became a part of a much stronger, deeper, powerful school of thought. She is a blogger in this new age, a regular professional in the mundane world and a spiritual vagabond in a parallel universe. This work is her humble attempt to describe the nature of the spiritual universe with all its magic and trigger curiosity in your mind while you journey through it.
