This is an excellent survival thriller. When a massive storm and careful sabotage disrupt power supplies to the United States, civilisation collapses. I really liked this book, a gritty thriller with lots of great characters. Cash the lethal ex soldier heading home to his family, Hannah the scientist who is being hunted for her knowledge, Ellis her brother a dab hand with a weapon, as well as a few psychopaths, escaped prisoners, shady military types and other dregs of humanity. A fast pace
